Cosmetic dentists are expected to create realistic restorations that mimic natural tooth structures. Unlike porcelain (indirect) restorations, a composite restoration is created entirely by the practitioner.
The clinician determines the color, shape, and contour of the restoration. Like a sculptor or a painter, the dentist is an artist whose work is on display every time the patient smiles.
It's the second part of educational video "Direct restoration of frontal teeth" - Finishing and Polishing. Basic and advanced polishing procedures are presented.
